Paddling Etiquette

Basic etiquette practises for a positive paddling experience for everyone:

Know rules and regulations.

Respect private property.

Maintain a safe distance from boats?allowing boat to clear before entering.

Avoid boat traffic by staying close to shore.

Avoid fishing lines.

Pack out what you take in?leaving no litter behind.

Do not remove plants, animals, rocks, wood or other artifacts.

Do not disturb wildlife with a loud voice. Leave radios at home and enjoy the quiet.

Respect wildlife from a distance, avoiding habitats and sensitive times.

Practise and teach your children principals of Leave No Trace outdoors ethics.
